I was really surprised to see Ryo just casually bringing up him & Uchi’s April Fool’s trick on Kusano from years ago here. Well it’s a classic story, why not tell it again. …? Ok, well I think it’s funny.

NEWS’ Confessions of Badness

Slipping on sunglasses and imitating you saying “Heyheyhey~”. These six dressing as that kind of stereotype bad guy have revealed some bad stuff they’ve done!

Koyama Keiichiro
● In high school I dyed my hair blond secretly without the school’s notice. Since it was against school regulations, I was blond outside of school but used a black hair spray for during school to hide it. I never had a rebellious period, and it’s not like I was a yankee, I just felt like doing that. I also always left class about three minutes early before lunch. But that was just because the cafeteria french fries always got sold out right away. It’s a cute reason, right? ♥
● I’ll confess the worst thing I’ve done recently! When I was doing the “LOSS:TIME:LIFE” stage play I ate 5 of the donuts that had been put out! Even though there was a sign that said “One Per Person”… But I was the one who brought them… and they were really good ♪ Actually, when it comes to food (especially fried things) I’m always doing bad things (lol). But the kind of people who seem fine on the outside but secretly do bad things are the really bad ones… they’re scary!

Nishikido Ryo
●　Moments when I think “I’m bad”? I have them. When I stand in front of a mirror wearing black jeans, black boots and a black jacket I think “I’m bad~!”. Sometimes I feel like wearing clothes like that. Although they’re all the same color, the point for coordination is what materials they’re made of. Its also a point that though to the eye the outfit is all black and bad looking, my underwear will have a really cute pattern (lol).
●　My other bad side is just to the extent that I deceive people. This story is from about three years ago, I think? I was walking around town with Uchi and we suddenly thought to call Kusano. I called saying “Crap, what should I do! Uchi, Uchi got in a traffic accident! Ahh, what should I do!” and Kusano got really upset! I then said “I-I don’t know what to do, I’m passing the phone on…” and passed it to Uchi. Uchi picked up saying “Hey~, what’s up?” really casually and our surprise was a total success (lol). That was pretty cruel, but this was an April Fool’s so please forgive me!

Yamashita Tomohisa
● In elementary school I got into fist fights, I was pretty rowdy. Once I was in middle school, apperance-wise I was pretty delinquent looking. I’d go to school with my uniform pants loose, my bag looking empty and flattened, and with blond hair. I’d always been told “You’re cute” or “You look like a girl” by others so I wanted to show “I’m a man!” and so I think I had what could be considered a delinquent period.
● In middle school I ran away from home once. I fought with my mom so then said “Fine then, I’m leaving!” and flew out of the house. I stayed at a friend’s for some days. I didn’t have any intention of returning after just a day or two. This is because I wanted her to understand I was serious. But, before I knew it I had returned home. I wonder why I did? It must be because family is something even if you’re separated from, you’ll return to.

Tegoshi Yuya
● In second grade I was really out of hand… I flipped up skirts, kissed girls on the cheek, my homeroom teacher got mad at me a lot. Thinking about it now, I think I really was a problem child. But when I was young I thought that kind of communication between girls and boys was normal. I didn’t have judgment of what was ‘bad’. Well, but I got chocolate from the girls I was mean to on valentine’s day, so whether that was really bad…. I don’t know (lol).
● I’m the type of person who if I develop someone I like even if I start thinking of everyone else as rivals and I just think I have to do something to get her heart. For example, if I fell in love with the same girl my best friend likes, I wouldn’t spread bad rumors about him. If it’s a girl I really like, I have confidence I won’t think of other girls, and I think it’s bad to become a total victim of love. So I say, but this is if there was a girl I had been able to fall that hard for…

Kato Shigaki
● I made plans to go snowboarding in March. But then about then my role in “Hokaben” was decided on. But even so, I wanted to go no matter what. Being really sketchy(?), I went ahead and went! I was found out by my mom went getting ready to go and she got angry saying “You have a drama, you can’t go!”, so pretending like I agreed with her I put my luggage in the car a little bit at a time without her notice. I then checked my manager’s schedule to make sure he wouldn’t be calling while I went snowboarding (lol). I’m sorry I lied, but I came home safe without any injuries so please forgive me!
● I think I really don’t have a ‘bad’ side. My rebellious period was only a week and I’ve never had fist fights with my friends. My fights are more like a debate. Because I’m smart (lol). The bad things I sometimes do are things like putting a bunch of beans in my manager’s clothes. There are just times when I want to see people’s upset face… wait, am I bad after all!?

Masuda Takahisa
●　Imagine backstage during a concert. There are 6 sweets put back there. Well, considering the member count you would normally think it “one per person” but I end up eating two. There’s a Bad Masuda in my heart that then thinks “If you eat 2 then someone won’t be able to eat one, so you have to do this without be noticed…”. By the way though, this has never become a problem with the members. I’m doing pretty good in the world ♪
●　When I became a Jr I couldn’t do a backflip, and I can remember having to practice. When I could finally do one I got the chance to show it off on “Music Station”. During rehersal I did it fine, but during the real thing I messed up perfectly… The replay was shown on a monitor so small you couldn’t see the faces so I pretended like I didn’t know who it was and got mad like “Who was that~”! It was me… I’m sorry (lol).

* I think Tegoshi is saying like, even if you like someone you and think of others as rivals- he focuses on the girl, not defeating the rivals. That kinda thing.
