In response to everyone asking how I am: I’m fine! Doing well Having fun and keeping my grades up. This past weekend I went to see the Tower of the Sun and I’ll be having fun at Universal Studios Osaka tomorrow ♥ I’m a bit sad because I fell asleep half way through Ryusei no Kizuna last Friday though, because I was so tired from the school week I wake up between 5:30 and 6 AM everyday to make it to class on time because of my long commute |D

NEWS answer questions about Tegoshi. What kind of animal he is, his habits, how they’d grab his heart if they were a girl, how he’s changed, etc. It’s really fun ♥ I know it’s been done in part here before, but it’s a bit incomplete. Who said what is in parenthesis after the sentence.

Yamashita Tomohisa

Gags are best at the level where you can’t quite understand them!
Although I’m told it’s surprising by a lot of people, I’m actually quite talkative. Before speaking with me a lot of people have a cool image of me, but if they’ve spoken with me just a little bit it’ll be revealed not to be true without a doubt. I talk about stupid things with my friends, say puns and I like slightly nostalgic jokes. What I’ve been into recently is a song that aired in an old commercial “Kyo~ritsubyou~geka~”. Somehow I just start wanting to sing it randomly. You don’t get the meaning of it right? I love gags that can’t be understood, so that can’t be helped. That I sometimes call myself “Sesshu” though is because I look up to samurai, so that has proper meaning. Even when I say things like this, instead of people ignoring me they think I’m someone “Really easy to talk with” and I can get along with people quickly the first time I meet them, so I’m lucky ♪. If you just hang out with me once, we’re sure to become friends. Well, it might be hard to meet with you guys directly, but you can hang out with us on TV or at concerts. If you all hang out with us for 10 years, I’m sure NEWS will become a big thing like SMAP, so I’ll be relying on you ♥

Koyama Keiichiro

My habit of being the last asleep and snoring when I go bed will never change!

I’m really careful about things that really don’t matter. This is a plain subject to talk about, but when I’m sleeping in a room with other people I always wait until everyone else is asleep. I mean, isn’t it rude if they try and talk to me and I’m sleeping? So no matter how tired I am I make sure not to sleep until I can hear them sleeping. I’ve always been this way. During school field trips there’s always someone who’ll ask “Is everyone sleeping?” at night you know? At those times I was liked because I wouldn’t be sleeping (lol). Like, I’m still awake at those times so it’s okay to talk with me. Lately I’ve been sharing a sleeping room with NEWS backstage or in hotels, but that I go to sleep last hasn’t changed. Plus, if I do fall asleep first then my extremely loud (says Shige) snoring will bother people. It’s best for me to be careful about that right?

Imagine he’s an animal…
●　Panda. Because he’s happy-go-lucky like them (Koyama)
●　Chihuahua. He’s like Ku~chan (Uchi)
●　Pug. I think their faces are smiliar! (Nishikido)
●　A miniature dachshund. The fact that he’s cute but surprisingly troublemaking fits them perfectly (Kato)
●　The baby lion you see behind an adult one (Kusano)
●　Rabbit. He’s like one (Masuda)
●　A dog. Because he has both a cute and a cool side to him.

I’d get Yamapi’s heart like this! if I was a girl
●　I’d act like an adult woman with a lot of experience. Lately Yamapi and I have been into older women (Koyama)
●　Since he checks his cellphone a lot, I’d mail him regularly. Because I know Yamapi will reply to the mails, we can grow close that way (Uchi)
●　I’d give him some delicious homemade cooking. Since he likes things boiled, I’d study how to make them (Nishikido)
●　I’d be cliche, a girl who acts cute and weak. I’d talk with him using a really excited speaking style (Kato)
●　I’d act like a racing queen, and hang out on the street corner!? (Kusano)
●　I’d say “I love Yamashita-kun’s muscles” (Masuda)
●　I’d show him the world of adults (Tegoshi)

Habit or common said line?
●　He brings the hair from the back of his head forward (Koyama)
●　Working out. He does it even just sitting in a chair (Uchi)
●　He’s suddenly started saying “dacchuu no” (Nishikido)
●　Apparently he’s been into English lately, and when we’re going home he says “See you”. I just respond normally with “Good work today!” though (lol) (Kato)
●　Nothing. He’s mysterious (Kusano)
●　He mumbles (Masuda)
●　If you think of something he’ll quickly responds “That’s good, that’s good” (Tegoshi)

The moment I saw Yamapi when he was really off
●　When he messes up doing a gag. He’ll be saying “Aiueore ni…” or “Kakikukekono XX ga sa…” but everyone just responds “I have nooo idea what you’re saying” (lol) (Koyama)
●　Yamapi picking his nose doesn’t match his image but if I say I have a habit of “Picking my nose” everyone is convinced about me. What’s with that (angry) (Uchi)
●　None. Because he’s perfect (Nishikido)
●　When he fell down the stairs in the studio making a huge do-do-do-don noise. I laughed a bit when I saw him after that, walking on like nothing had happened. (Kato)
●　It’s not manly to have a small appetite and not ask for seconds ♥ (Kusano)
●　If he hasn’t thought about something in a week or so he can’t remember it~ (Masuda)
●　When he was sleeping with his mouth wide open. Well, he was still cool though (Tegoshi)

Yamapi is different than he was a long time ago because…
●　He’s come to be able to talk to me a lot. On the way home from uni he’ll invite me somewhere like, “Let’s go to the movies!” and I feel like “Yamapi, that makes me so happy ♥” (Koyama)
●　He’s become like a leader, and reliable (Uchi)
●　His face. In the past it was childlike but it’s become adult-like. His personality has become more mature also, but he’s more friendly (Nishikido)
●　In the past I had a cool impression of him but now I don’t have that impression at all. When he gets hyper he starts saying gags I can’t understand at all (Kato).
●　He laughs at my reactions. When he poked me with a thumbtack, we laughed a lot~ (Kusano)
●　Since we’ve become NEWS he’s started talking with me (Masuda)
●　I’ve noticed he’ll say puns without any warning (Tegoshi)

His weak point
●　90 minute classes at college. Those classes are long to him because he’s used to high school classes, and he has to fight with sleepiness (Koyama)
●　The cold. When he gets cold he immediately has goosebumps (Uchi)
●　Ghosts. In the past we were telling ghost stories late at night and he said to me “I have to go to the bathroom. Come with me” (Nishikido)
●　Kanji. I feel like I’ve seen him write the kanji for “難” with one extra line (Kato)
●　His cellphone. I think if he lost it there would be a rainstorm of tears.
●　The cold. Because he has no fat (Masuda)
●　None. He’s Mr. Perfect (Tegoshi)

Translation Notes
♣ “so I’ll be relying on you ♥” is actually “yoroshiku ne ♥” at the end of Yamapi’s solo section.
♣ Ku~chan is a chihuahua that became really popular after starring in a number of Japanese commercials. She had twin puppies sometime later too XD You can see her here: http://www.petmodel.jp/qoo.html
♣ “Aiueore ni…” or “Kakikukekono XX ga sa…”…. both these gags are starting with a line of the Japanese hiragana alphabet and then creating sentences from that. Imagine something like “ABCDEFG I want a snack…” or something like that.
♣ The “難” kanji is the kanji for “difficult”/”hard”
♣ Ryo concludes Yamapi’s scared of ghosts because after telling ghost stories Yamapi didn’t want to go to the bathroom alone.
♣ Tegoshi says Mr Perfect in “English” (katakana)
♣ Yamapi says good bye in English slang, while Shige gives your traditional goodbye greeting for workmates (otsukaresama deshita).
